Old Lockbourne Cemetery - Lockbourne, Ohio
On June 8, 2004 the Grave Hoppers explored the old Lockbourne Cemetery. Located on Landis Street near a dead end at the back of the town,
it's a pretty little piece of history. Most of the graves are extremely difficult to read, and are obviously quite old.
The mid-1800s are the most popular of all the dates, specifically 1850-1875. Many have been damaged, but as far as I could tell, only one had
actually been replaced.
To get there, first take US 23 south to SR 317, make a left at the light. Follow SR 317 to Lockbourne Road, and make a Right. Take Lockbourne Road south from SR 317 until it ends.
Make right onto Commerce Street, and then a left onto the first street past the little carryout. At the stop sign, make another left. You'll be able to see the cemetery.
